OHIO ATTRIBUTED AMISH "LONE STAR / STAR OF BETHLEHEM" PIECED QUILT,
hand- and machine-stitched, center eight-point star constructed by diamond-shaped blocks constructed from over 200 pieces of polychrome solid fabrics having diagonal grid quilting, featuring a dark reddish pink ground fabric with floral and chain quilting, blue border along two sides with motif quilting, wide back-over-front binding, three paneled salmon pink backing.
First half/mid 20th century.

Condition
Very good overall condition, top with some scattered stains and small spots of fading, one spot of separation at seam of binding along one end edge, the opposite end with a short separation at seam between blue border fabric and reddish pink fabric, binding with light toning, backing with a few scattered stains and spotting, a few small holes along edges, faint stripes possibly ghosting from another fabric piece.
