OHIO DECORATED STONEWARE JAR, salt-glazed, designated five-gallon capacity, cylindrical wide-mouth form with flat-top rounded rim, double incised neck rings, applied arched handles, Albany-slip glazed interior. Slip-trailed cobalt decoration featuring a three-tined design flanking capacity mark and a stylized motif below. Circa 1875. 12 1/2" H, 11 1/4" D rim.
Excellent condition having some minute to minor flakes to handles, some silver paint flecks/drips primarily to underside, and spots of grease staining to one side.
