RARE KENTUCKY-STYLE BOY'S / LADY'S FLINTLOCK LONG RIFLE, approximately 50 caliber, diminutive figured maple full stock, octagonal to round barrel, single trigger, brass two-part patchbox with rosette fore end and side hinge, back of butt stock with relief carving and inlaid brass eight-point star, early brass plate applied to underside of stock, possibly a historical repair. Circa 1810. 48" LOA, 34" L barrel.
Very good visual condition with some restoration to the stock, lock not functioning correctly, moderate pitting to the barrel.
