SHENANDOAH VALLEY OF VIRGINIA OVERSHOT COVERLET, salmon pink and navy blue wool, and natural cotton, two joined panels, having striped pattern, possibly a variation of "Rose in the Wilderness". Second half 19th century. 74" x 101".

Condition

Very good overall condition with some toning mostly to edges and center seam, a few stains, a hole near one end, a couple short sections of separation at seam, minor losses to wool notably to end edges.
