STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN HISTORICAL TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC BOWL, featuring States series patterns, having central interior image depicting Bushy Park, Middlesex with fallow deer in foreground, flanked by patriotic female figures Justice and Liberty on platforms reading "AMERICA AND / INDEPENDENCE", double border featuring 15 states enumerated in swags interspersed with stars, exterior having four cartouches featuring Coghill Hall, Yorkshire, and beaded rim. Impressed crown mark encircled with "CLEWS WARRANTED STAFFORDSHIRE" to underside. Ralph & James Clews, Cobridge, England. 1814-1834. 2 1/8" H, 10 1/2" D rim.
