STAFFORDSHIRE LONDON VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC SOUP LADLE, featuring the Royal Coburg Theatre, London, England, depicting a three-story building with two figures in foreground. Unmarked. Circa 1825. 12 3/4" LOA, 4 3/4" D bowl.

Catalogue Note: This ladle has the same border as the soup tureen featuring the Capitol at Harrisburg and is the proper ladle for that tureen, which is lot 1083 in this auction. According to Mr. Routson, this is "the only extant example of this ladle I'm aware of."
Excellent visual condition having professional restoration to bowl.
