STAFFORDSHIRE LONDON VIEWS TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC POTATO BOWLS, LOT OF TWO, each of low circular form with beaded rim, comprising one example depicting the Italian Opera House in London's Haymarket with three figures in foreground and tree surround, and one example featuring St. Philip's Chapel, Regent Street depicting a classical structure with portico and cupola, figures on street in foreground, and grapevine border decoration. Marks include impressed "WOOD". Enoch Wood & Sons, Burslem, England; and other. First half 19th century. 2 3/4" HOA, 12 1/8" DOA.

Opera House example having scattered minute to minor flakes to foot ring and faint rim hairline primarily visible to underside due to decoration; St. Philip's example having stapled repairs and rim hairline; each having some light minor scattered scratches from use.
