STAFFORDSHIRE ROBINSON CRUSOE TRANSFER-PRINTED ARTICLES, LOT OF SEVEN, comprising one plate having green transfer depicting "ROBINSON CRUSOE" on a raft with embossed ABC border design, and six examples having brown transfer ABC designs with polychrome enamel decorations including five plates with patterns including "CRUSOE FINDING THE FOOT PRINTS", "CRUSOE RESCUES FRIDAY", and "CRUSOE VIEWING THE ISLAND" and a mug with "CRUSOE TEACHING FRID[AY]". Marks to underside include printed registry numbers and "B.P. Co / TUNSTALL ENGLAND". Brownhills Pottery Co., Tunstall, England; and other. Circa 1887. Mug 2 3/4" HOA, plates 5 1/8" to 8 1/4" D.
