STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC TEA / DRINKING ARTICLES, LOT OF FOUR, each having blue transfer images, comprising a sugar bowl with teapot cover, each featuring Giraffe pattern, a teapot with Goat and Kid pattern, a coffee pot with domed cover having basket and flower motif, and a pitcher/jug with "CANOVA" scene featuring an urn, gondola, and classical buildings. Marks include one with printed lion and "T MAYER LONGPORT" below, otherwise unmarked. Stubbs and Kent, Longport; John Ridgway, Hanley; Thomas Mayer, Longport, England. First half 19th century. Coffee pot 12 1/2" HOA.

Sugar undamaged, except having a spot of discoloration to foot; goat teapot having areas of restoration including areas on cover, rim, and spout; coffee pot having some professional restoration including handle, end of spout and rim hairline, spout with minor chip to end, and cover with hairline to flange.
