STAMPED NORTON FAMILY, "BENNINGTON, VT", VERMONT, DECORATED STONEWARE JUGS, LOT OF TWO, salt-glazed, each of beehive form, Albany-slip glazed interior, comprising one "2" gallon capacity mark example stamped "E NORTON & CO. / BENNINGTON, VT" and one "1 1/2" gallon capacity mark example stamped "[E] & L P NORTON / BENNINGTON VT". Each featuring cobalt slip-trailed foliate decoration, additional cobalt brushed to stamp. Edward Norton and Luman Preston Norton, Bennington, VT. 1861-1885. 13 1/4" HOA.
