STAMPED "RIEDINGER & CAIRE / PO'KEEPSIE N.Y" DECORATED STONEWARE JUG, salt glazed, "2" gallon capacity mark, beehive form with squared mouth, and applied strap handle. Brushed cobalt double-bloom floral decoration, additional cobalt highlighting stamp and capacity mark. Philip Riedinger and Adam Caire, Poughkeepsie, NY. 1857-1878. 12 1/2" HOA.
Condition
Undamaged. Manufacturing flaws including two stone pops below decoration, as made.
