THOMAS AMOSS ATTRIBUTED, HENRICO COUNTY, VIRGINIA DECORATED STONEWARE JUG, salt-glazed, approximately three-gallon capacity, graceful ovoid form with collared mouth, triple incised rings to neck and shoulder, applied grooved strap handle with thumb-pressed lower terminal. Brushed cobalt vertical feather-style foliate decoration to front, additional cobalt to handle terminals. Attributed to Thomas Amoss Pottery, Henrico County, VA. 1818–1823. 15 7/8" HOA.
