THOMAS LORD FAIRFAX (1693-1781) SIGNED 1773 VIRGINIA LAND GRANT DOCUMENT, manuscript vellum, granting eight acres in Fairfax Co., Virginia to Edward Dulin, seal applied upper left corner, signed "Fairfax" lower right corner. Unframed. 1773. 12" x 12". Together with a 1769 manuscript on paper deed for 200 acres in Caroline Co., VA, from John Hailey to Robert Wright. 7 1/2" x 6 1/4". Two pieces total.
Condition
Fairfax in very good condition with typical fold creases, a small hole inside right edge and lower edge, several pinholes at the lower crease, some surface rubbing/wear. Other with holes and separations at creases.
