VIRGINIA GOVERNOR HENRY LEE (1756-1818) SIGNED 1772 WASHINGTON CO., VALLEY OF VIRGINIA LAND GRANT DOCUMENT, printed and manuscript vellum, granting 330 acres located on Sinking Creek, Salt Peter Cave, Washington Co., Virginia to Robert Preston, seal applied lower left corner, boldly signed "Henry Lee" lower right corner. Housed under glass in a double-sided frame. 1772. 12" x 14 3/4" object; 14 1/2" x 17 1/2" OA.
Very good condition with typical fold creases, one small hole at the lower right edge and several pinholes to creases.
