WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA WALNUT CHILD'S BLANKET CHEST, hinged lid with breadboard ends over a half-blind dovetailed case, raised on bracket feet, front with cut-out scallop skirt. Poplar and yellow pine secondary woods. Retains an old refinished surface with warm color. First half 19th century. 15 1/2" H, 30 1/2" W, 12" D.
